No one can ride a mountain for you. Be prepared to feel so tired that you truly believe you cannot go on. Be ready to admit to fatigue and, yes, dejection. There is no such thing as an easy ride up a mountain.

The Resurrection 2: Brian gets wood (rims)
Combining his fine skills in the art of woodworking and an interest in all things wheeled, my old man is about to undertake another rescue mission on a lucky bike, this time a BSA track bike from back when Jesus rode the Ghent 6 day. These are gonna look sweet when they're done I reckon. Wooden rims circa 1896. Check for termites before riding on these babies. Might need to glue on some new tubulars too...
A recovering DJ and musician and lifelong habitual bike rider, my world revolves around pedalling, writing, wrenching and swilling.... Born and bred in Newcastle NSW Australia, I have been living in the windy city of Wellington, New Zealand since January 2007. I came for the mountain biking, and stayed for the... mountain biking and road riding. I don't much care if you don't want to hear about it, I'm going to tell you anyway.
